The Lagoon of Grado and Aquileia is a place rich of biodiversity. If you are a Nature lover, you can’t miss the opportunity to do birdwatching in the Lagoon. The boat of Marco is ideal to navigate the shallow waters of this area, so you’ll be able to go next to the “barene”: little islands where many birds species usually stand. Swans, coots, great crested grebes, oystercatchers, flamingos and hundreds of others birds species live and breeding undisturbed into this little paradise. Let you be enchanted by the beauty of Nature!

  • Itinerary: Aquileia (Garibaldi square) – Mouth of Natissa river – Island of Morgo –  Banco d’Orio – Island of Saint Giuliano – Come back – (other stops on request).
  • Time: 4 hours.
  • Price: from 15 to 25 euros per person. Maximum 12 persons.
  • Info: the animals of the Lagoon are wilde and free, please don’t disturb them, especially in the springtime when the birds build their nests.

Come to see the beauties and try the tastes of the Lagoon. In a labyrinth made of waterways and islands, typical restaurants (“Ai Fiuri de Tapo” Franca Mela place – “Ai Ciodi Island of Porto Buso) are ready to welcome you with traditional dishes: for example, the “boreto”, a tasty fish soup, probably the most rappresentative dish of the Lagoon. Enjoy an entire day in the Lagoon between bloomy islands and beaches. Quiet, delicious food, wonderful landscapes, what else?

  • Itinerary: Aquileia (Garibaldi square) – Mouth of Natissa river – visit of a “Casone” (the typical house of the inhabitants of the Lagoon) – Lunch in a restaurant (“Ai Fiuri de Tapo” Franca Mela place or “Ai Ciodi” Island of Porto Buso) – Relax on the beach – Come back.
  • Time: 8 hours.
  • Price: 300 euro (rental of the boat with the driver for the entire day – lunch not included). Maximum 12 persons.
  • Info: the vist of a “Casone” (the typical house of the inhabitants of the Lagoon) will be possible only with the courtesy of the owners.
